We are a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that welcomes people who are interested in building inclusion and equality in  Donegal and in promoting Human Rights and opposing discrimination and racism.

Representing the Priorities for Minorities…

We are widely recognised by minority communities and state agencies as the representative forum for intercultural inclusion and we have representatives on the Connecting for Life initiative; The Community Health Network; Donegal Women’s Centre; The PEACE IV Partnership; and the new PEACE Plus partnership; DLDC Working Groups; Social Inclusion Measures Group; the Donegal Joint Policing Committee; Social Inclusion Linkage Group (SILG – PPN) etc.

New Funding awarded to the Platform

We have recently been awarded funding through the Community Development Programme Pilot Scheme delivered by the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) which enables the Platform to develop and deliver a programme targeting the exclusion, disadvantage and racism experienced by the Black and Minority Ethnic communities including Travellers and Roma. We have also become a registered company – a Company Limited by Guarantee – CLG (a Not-For-Profit company) No: 691392
